This adoption is driven by far more than compliance with customer or certification audits. Intensifying global competition, rising production costs, supply chain pressures, and shorter delivery expectations have encouraged organizations to adopt systematic methodologies that enable them to utilize existing resources more effectively. Within this context, 5S represents one of the most practical and impactful starting points for operational transformation.
Following a successful 5S implementation, the most significant organizational change is rarely the improved appearance of the workplace.
